Austin, Texas and Amsterdam, The Netherlands, August 26th, 2016 – RackN, a unified, self-service software platform for automating multi-cloud and hybrid infrastructure lifecycle management, today announces EVO Venture Partners as a major investor.
Based out of Amsterdam, The Netherlands and with offices in San Francisco and Singapore, EVO Venture Partners has joined Juniper Ventures and other prominent investors in helping RackN deliver on its vision. The funding will be used to expand the RackN presence in enterprise and service provider markets and accelerate planned feature releases throughout 2016 and beyond.
Dennis Bruin, Managing Partner at EVO Venture Partners commended the company for its progress to date saying, “RackN is an excellent example of an early-stage software company seizing a tremendous market opportunity and solving customer’s pain. EVO Venture Partners very much looks forward to working with RackN to further develop, grow and guide them on their journey.”
Recently, RackN has completed development its new self-service portal – RackN Advanced Dashboard. The new dashboard provides a template-driven, easy-to-use, automated, composable lifecycle management of clustered systems which span across hybrid infrastructure and cloud properties. RackN has received excellent feedback and anticipates the new portal will drive additional product revenue and drive additional investment.
Commenting on the announcements, RackN CEO Rob Hirschfeld said, “We are very excited to announce EVO Venture Partners as a new investor in RackN . In addition to their deep understanding of the cloud and data center space, EVO is a great business partner and has a solid track record in guiding early-stage technology companies to the next level. With our new portal, we wanted to provide a platform that would address the common frustrations with cloud migrations and lifecycle managing the complexity of underlying technologies across hybrid infrastructures and cloud platforms. Our customers told us that they wanted a single-click, visual way of deploying, composing and updating complex technologies such as Kubernetes, OpenStack, OpenContrail, complex networking and various microservices together as a clustered system which unifies operations efficiency and helps the CIO control OPEX and CAPEX budgets. We have developed a multi-tenant platform that is secure and super easy to use for cloud and data center operators that are tired of guessing how to provision, merge and manage complex technology in hybrid infrastructure and cloud environments.
